What People Say

Most Liked

Sande's excels at creating a friendly atmosphere, and regular patrons often return for the great service and welcoming vibe. The coffee stands out, with free refills keeping everyone energized. Their breakfast burritos often receive rave reviews, alongside classic dishes like biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash. Many customers appreciate the diner’s ability to cater to families, offering a dedicated kids' menu and high chairs for little ones. The outdoor seating allows for a relaxing dining experience, especially on pleasant days. The food is prepared well, striking a balance between hearty and delicious, making any visit satisfying.

Most Disliked

While Sande's has many fans, it’s worth noting some criticisms. A few patrons mention that the bacon lacked substance, being too thin for their liking. Others have noted that some menu items do not come with sides, like potatoes with omelettes, which can be a surprise. Additionally, during peak hours—especially on Saturdays—wait times can increase due to the bustling atmosphere. Some guests have pointed out that the decor feels outdated and could use a refresh to keep up with modern dining expectations. Lastly, a few customers expressed a desire for sweeteners available at the tables, which appears to be a minor oversight in an otherwise well-rounded experience.

My honest opinion, the atmosphere really needs to be brought up to 2026. The bacon really needs help, paper thin, I could have read the newspaper through it. They need to step up their bacon game. The waitress BAILEY brought my rating up. Other than that, it's just not bad for a quick breakfast, but they need to step their game up a little bit. Just a single father of two giving honest opinions.

We came in for Breakfast on Wednesday, with Family who are regulars here and got treated to a welcome experience by Margie and the whole staff. A nice locals spot that people love coming back too. Happy my Aunt and Uncle found this place after living down here for so long. Really great breakfast/lunch spot...

Definitely the best diner in Delray. They have the old school juice machines with the drizzle on the glass. The waitresses are fantastic. They almost come by too much with coffee. My friend from France was blown away that great coffee had free refills. It's always busy but never obnoxious. My only two issues: no Sweetner on the tables and when you order an omelette, you don't get the potatoes included. Maybe I'm wrong but I didn't see it on the menu. That aside, love this cozy place.

Amazing old world Floridian diner! Staff here is so warm and welcoming. They know all the regulars and it really feels like family here. Small diner but large flavors. Everything was cooked just right. I loved the chicken noodle soup on a cold morning, and the hashbrowns had the perfect crisp. You really won't regret dining here!!

Came back after a couple of years from out of state, and searched best breakfast burritos and couldn’t believe this place didn’t show up in the Google search. Determined, I knew there was no way they closed this place own and relied on my memory to find this place. No disappointments! This spot has the best breakfast burritos and I’m confident the rest of their menu won’t disappoint. Cash only, but there’s an ATM inside so be ready! A legit diner/ cafe and worthy of recognition. Edit: If you want more on it, just ask for it. “Have it your way”, always. Oh, and if you want to be discrete with your mimosas, it’s a good spot to get your sips. 😉

I would have to say this is a HIDDEN GEM ! We were gave a recommendation of this restaurant for breakfast. You won't be disappointed with whatever you order. Prices were very reasonable for this area. If you have a sweet tooth for breakfast, Definitely try the crunchy French toast. The link sausage was Really good also.We are only here for the week, but we will be back to try the fresh hand carved turkey sandwiches. Sande's had a variety of options and prices on the menu Service was awesome
